Vancouver BC – Flip Flopping is not just for politicians

Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid has done a flip flop when it comes to naming his starting quarterback.  After earlier saying QB Kevin Kolb would be the starter when he returns from his concussion, Coach Reid has changed his mind and given the job to back up Michael Vick.

On Sunday Vick led the Eagles to a win against the Detroit Lions. Vick completed 21 of 34 passes for 284 yards and had 2 passing touchdowns.  It was Vick’s first start in nearly four years after his reinstatement to the NFL after his past legal troubles. Vick served 21 months in prison for his involvement in a dog fighting ring.

The Eagles are 1-1 and play in Jacksonville on Sunday afternoon.
